Greenville Drive win South Atlantic League, South Division Title over the Asheville Tourists

The Greenville Drive, hosting the first professional playoff game in the Upcountry in 12 years, defeated the nearby Asheville Tourists 3 - 2, on a walk off, Mitch Dening home run in the bottom of the ninth inning.

The Drive won the Southern Division of the South Atlantic League, and will now advance to play the Lakewood Blue Claws next week for the League championship.

This picture captures the moment of the celebration, as Dening came home. A few moments later, the crowd memorialized the anniversary of the attacks of September 11, with a patriotic fireworks display.
