Mixed Concrete!

Mixed Concrete! by Green Wellies.
Forget the brown grass...a good rainfall makes everything green again! The rosemary is in an old concrete toilet tank that I found in the ferns by the woods and the geranium (almost done for the season) is in an old lump of concrete that I dug out of the ground. It must have had a post imbedded in it at one time...but has found a new use as a planter!

There are absolutely great finds.......I've not heard of a concrete toilet tank, but isn't it perfect for trailing rosemary? And the other container is equally splendid.

I'm with you Jane...I'd never seen NOR heard of a concrete toilet tank before. It makes me wonder how old it is! Maybe someone out there in flickr land can tell us more...

so because i need to know, i googled concrete toilets and they appear to be all the rage.
most people put something less appealing than rosemary into them...
i prefer your option, barb.

What a great pair of planters! Love the thyme in a toilet - has a nice ring to it (tee hee). And isn't it nice to have the green grass back again!
