Lapland forest destruction

Finnish forest landscape shots from Northern Finland, Finnish Lapland.

Logging by governmental forestry company Metsähallitus. Most of the old-growth forests in northern Finland have been fragmented with extensive clearcuts, so-called seed-tree logging, thinning and access road network.
