quilt_skirt

quilt_skirt by Green Kitchen.
A former baby quilt turned skirt. It was w WIP for about a year and a half. All I had to do to finish it was add a waistband and hem.

Had to use the Lomoish filter in Picnik because they weren't the best photos.

Darling! But please be careful. I learned today that my stepfather broke his leg in four places on the 4th, while they were out bike riding.

And, my foo.t was wet and slippery, too. Sorry to put the fear in you. ;) The main danger was that it's a straight skirt and I didn't have much range.

I'm glad you finished that one. I really like it.

I've been told to be careful doing the same thing. The thing is that mirror was the only full length mirror in our house for many, many years so we became expert clawfoot-bathtub-rim-walkers. It helps to be bar.efoot. :)

becktress: thanks. what do you think about the other photo with the tunic over it? i'm thinking that the shirts I've been making might look fine with a straight skirt.
