Bodice back closure. The bias tape on crochet was challenging. The skirt fabric edge has an under layer of bias tape that I whip stitched thread to in order to pick up the stitches for the crochet. If I had been more thoughtful in my sewing of the bias tape I could have left it as it was. But, since the stitching was ugly I ended up covering it with a decorative layer of bias that I machine stitched to the dress and then whip stitched to the crochet. This actually makes it much stronger where the two meet. I added the hooks and eyes because it was the blue bias tape was a little wonky and gap-ish. After all this work, it turned out that I can pull it over my head, so next time...
