Banana Boa found Just south of Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica
This is an Ungaliophis panamensis that was found near cocles, Costa
Rica. According to published reports there were only a few documented
sitings of this animal in Costa Rica, although the locals I talked to
seemed to have seen them before, so not sure how rare they are in the
country. This is one of the species we are negotiating with the
