The DS is kind of boat-shaped, isn't it? And those (inflateable?) balls are a good metaphor for its air suspension. Was this Photoshopped or is it a lake installation somewhere?

@bluewave
It was a lake installation for a three-day expo in Paris last weekend. There are actually wooden planks supporting the balls just below the waterline.

With designs like this its a wonder why French automobiles don't have a larger market share.

I like this a lot, but what kind of adervertising would this be? Why is it on water and why does it have ball wheels? How do those things relate to the car?

>but what kind of adervertising would this be?

The balloons between the DS and water should symbalize the very special suspension of the car. It has got no metal springs, but a combination of gas (the balloons) and fluid (the water) to accomplish the road perfomance. Therefore the suspension´s official name is Hydropneumatic. And indeed, it´s an unforgetable experience to drive such a car.
