Technical data for those who care. Minolta X-700 with Rokkor 58mm f/1.4. Kodak Tri-X (Expired 1996) pushed to EI 12800. Camera back came open for approximately 1-2 seconds under light of moon, creating a mild solarization effect. Developed in stock D-76 for 11 minutes @ 70F (thought I was processing Kodak Direct Positive Film) Which is saucing it a bit hot for way too short a period of time for such an extensive push. Images are completely unprintable on an optical enlarger, hell, I could barely make out the images on a lightbox. Stained for 40 minutes after rinsing with oxidized St. James Winery Blueberry Wine to enhance contrast, bumped enough I could get some scans. Scanned in SilverFast Epson on and Epson V500 as 48-bit color scans to get as much depth out of the Red and Blue channels, thanks to the wine stain. Reconverted to black and white in Lightroom 4, using XeL:Black and White presets. Pushed about 5 stops from baseline scan between multisample scanning, exposure boost in SilverFast HDR, and Exposure boost and a lot of tweaking in Lightroom 4.
