…and I give you light! Well, light AND 2010’s Halloween altar.
Even though I refer to the entire spread as “the Halloween altar”, there are actually two altars present: one for the Black Goddess (central table), and another for the Black Rabbit (the two units flanking the central table).
Back in 2009 I wrote a lengthy journal entry regarding my relationship with the Black Rabbit as I explained Her altar(s), although that entry is currently unavailable (my old archives haven’t been imported yet to the new journal system I’m using). Before I move on to the next picture I’d like to take a moment and personally thank everything that helped provide the most stress-free altar creating experience, ever: the iron, sewing pins, duct tape, our meter stick, the spirit level and the motherfucking lint roller. Without you guys I couldn’t be the anally straight, symmetrical, even and wrinkle’n’lint free witch I am; thank you.
