10: LOCAL LANDMARK

10: LOCAL LANDMARK by Graustark.
Ye olde Lucky Burger, which marks the place where I turn into my neighborhood when I head home from work each day. Specializing in Chinese-burger fusion, whatever that is.

wow! the photo makes this place seem so dreamy, like they make magical burgers or something! i guess it's the combo of film & camera. (& most importantly, photog!) nice.

This place has a really good veggie burger.

From their menu:
"Mélange of grilled zucchini, mushrooms, tomatoes and onions"

Add a slice of cheese and a side of tater tots or onion rings and man, oh man... good stuff!

There was a place in Orlando called "Los Chinitos" and it was a latin/chinese restaurant. That was one of the more interesting fusion places I've gone to.

I'm not sure about Chinese hamburgers, but teriyaki burgers sound good.

When I have a Lucky Burger craving, nothing else will do. Had to blog your photo here, because I liked it so.

Wow, much love for the Lucky Burger! I drive by it practically daily but I've never eaten there. My husband did once and found it too way too greasy -- an alarming statement indeed coming from him! Given my digestive system's low tolerance for grease I've stayed away, but I gotta say, the place has style. What kind of style .... that I'm less clear on. But Houston's runnning out of places like this, so I hope they continue to have fans.

$♥? I think we went to HPI on the same days this week! I had a roll of found film from a Czech camera I bought on eBay, but alas, it was a total failure. But I scanned a couple of frames nonetheless. ;)
