This poster appears on the window of a 7-11 convenience store on Market Street in San Francisco. Conan Doyle had enough problems with rip-offs during his lifetime, but this is worse: somebody thought this was a good idea, got it approved, was paid for it, and then spent oodles of money putting them in public places.
