It's fence friday --- and I actually have a fence shot! A drive-by shooting on country roads. Yes, I was behind the wheel, but stopped (because it's a country road and no one else was around so I just stopped in the middle of the road).

Things are popping up, and there are scattered blooms of the early bulbs here and there in the garden.

Since, by the calendar, it's not spring yet, I'll continue adding to this series.

Beginning to think about my trip to Japan coming up soon. Hope they are having an early spring too!

Later this evening I'll have a TILT of the 'early spring bloomers'. Stay tuned ;-)

Wee little iris reticulatas from my garden. Isn't the light blue one gorgeous? It's the "katerine hodgkins" variety.

Trying out a new little pocket camera I got for my upcoming trip to Japan. It's a little 14mp Sony cybershot w/Carl Zeiss lens. Took this photo with it. Seems ok so far.
