GARDEN SHOW, PORTLAND OREGON 2/07

I spent the entire day with my gardening friends Frankie and Susan at this huge show in Portland, OR. We walked out of there with plenty of inspiration and goodies, including garden art, furniture, bulbs, rare perennials and great memories!

The convention center is such a super place to have a show. They have a wine bar, pretty darn good food, and lots of places to sit and rest.

It's very easy to lose track of time there with gardening temptations around every corner.

I wanted so badly to bring my big SLR camera but knew it would just be in the way so I popped the little Canon IXUS 65 into my bag. The lighting wasn't very good for a lot of the photos but that' s ok...I think I got a few special ones in this batch.

Be sure to check out the Chinese lanterns and stool in front of the Buddha. They are now MINE!!! That Buddha was over 9 feet tall so you get the idea of the scale of my new treasures!
