Beneath the Bark, Spirit

Yet another with the Bis-Telar-Manqué (BTM), and again with the element reversed. This time a medium depth shot, in which there is still the signature shimmer, but with more noticeable radial curvature from the center, like the swirl you get with Petzval lenses but here in the foreground rather than in the bokeh. Bizarre. And I like it. Best incomplete lens I've ever seen. Wait--it's the only one I've ever seen....

ADOX CHS 50 in Rodinal 1+50 for 9 minutes. No post-processing save an ever so slight upping of the brightness--I still don't really know the focal length or f-number on this iris-less half-lens so exposures are a guessing game.
