The Turtle and the sea

The Turtle and the sea

The morning extreme high tide allowed me to shot this normally dry section of coast with water closer to it. Unfortunately, the wave action was pretty mild, so I didn't capture any water spilling over as I had hoped for.

This is a re-processed image from back in 2010.

I've been reviewing several images that were in a invite from Getty. I'm still not sure if I want to submit them. If you have any feedback on experiences with Getty, I would appreciate hearing about them.
Of course, comments and faves on the image would also be greatly appreciated ;-)

Clear for takeoff

Clear for takeoff

When the days get shorter...the exposures get longer!

Not being able to get out in the daylight and shoot after work, I'm kind of obligated to head out at night and expand my horizons. On this evening I took advantage of the full moon. I've been playing with fire, spinning steel wool. This is the first image that I felt worthy to post.
Hope you like it!
