Today's food co-op bounty. There's a bag of purple and green okra in there, lots of different peppers that aren't visible, and some heirloom tomatoes. Sadly, I picked this up for someone who's out of town, and have to share with the folks who were smart enough to join the co-op.

I could lie and say I was mugged, but it's for people in the church choir. Veggies don't go well with guilt.

But tomatoes do.....

Mr. Gossamer got up early this weekend and put a couple Boston Butts on the grill...12 hours later I decided there's more to pork than just bacon.

...or, not.

Gibson couldn't wait to play on it. Chloe was quite fine with waiting. Mason evidently thought we were throwing him into shark-infested waters.

Gossamer Mom's cat, Loki. Mr. Gossamer made this from some pictures I took when he was wee for her birthday present. (I mean, the animation was for her birthday...the pictures were just because that's what I do.) He's a Main Coon and is now huge. Really huge. Freakin' big, y'all.

I think she'd have rather be taken to dinner (which we're still going to do, Mom).
