I haven't fully investigated, but apparently there is a really cool torch in there.

I was planning on keeping them in the car for emergencies, so perhaps I'll get another one and open it to see what's inside :) Obviously will post here.

I opened another one and it contains:
* a whistle
* a torch (flashlight) that only stays on when you squeeze it
* a smoke blanket thing
* goggles, presumably for smoky environments

I hoped it might contain one of those foil thermal blanket things, but sadly not :-(
