Yes, it is, kind o' special. The sort of place family could visit later on... as for example happened over at the later catacombs near Mdina in Malta or their earlier hypogeum at Tarxien. Most of the others in the museum grounds are not so well preserved and seem to be individual tombs dug or cut into the rock, though there could be more extensive remains under the nearby built up areas.

These ones empty I believe. I think that most had been robbed out in antiquity, although a few had pottery or glass cremation jars in, several of which are on display in the museum above with contents (picture to follow).
