Waterton is one of my favourite places, nested in the corner of Alberta where in the Canadian Rockies, just north of the US, just east of British Columbia.
We were visiting Waterton most recently in 2009. In mid afternoon just as we were arriving at the park, the sunlight was just right. The family kindly waited as I set up my tripod by the edge of the lake, grabbed as many photos as I could in the few minutes of light. This one is my favourite from the set, and my most popular photo on Flickr.
