Fractal landscape

Another view from the window, en route from Chicago to Houston.

I haven't seen anything quite like this before.

vprax.... :-) that's what everyone says about my "window seat" shots. In the past I've been known to move seat if the window is not clean, but most of the time there is usually a corner of place that is OK. Yesterday it was in the top corner - which called for contortions to get any good shot!!!! I have a sore neck this morning!!!

      Yessss. Love this.
I'm a bit of a fractal fiend myself - should find a way to get that into my photos for sure.

Ken, it would be TOTALLY fantastic if I could see a diptych of this and "park" image with the two sets of lines emanating from the centre. HInt hint! :D
      ... Shazz

[update- Ken, as discussed offline, here is a quick version using flickr toys mosaic maker. You're limited as to the crop, but it's way quicker than me trying to learn some kind of photo editing software tonight. :D Shazz the photoshop luddite.] Hope you like it and I can't wait to see your "real" version on flickr one day. BTW, FEEL FREE TO *DELETE* IF YOU HATE THIS! :-D

Shazz - I really like it.
      Thank you so much! :-)

I'll have to try this out anf see what I get!

Great. The crop should be rectangular, and will look much better when you do it "properly" as you say ... but these are great pix on their own or together. Cheers! :D

Like ice crystals crawling across a window on a crisp morning - but on a much larger scale :-) Reminds me of the priaries in Canada...

It's located at about N39° 37' and W89° 28' looking at it from the East.
