So there we were.....we'd been treking for 2 hours up from Lotus Pond village. It was 35 degrees with the reflected heat from the Wall and apart from being tired we were starting to feel quite the adventurers!!! And suddenly we hit this "toursity bit".
A cable car runs from the valley below up to this section of the Great Wall. Our guide had said "you might even see people in high heels!!" But we weren't expecting a leaping bride and groom!!
PS Just to the right of the groom's right thumb is the last watchtower we made it to that day. Then we had to walk all the way back.
