United Neon 3 of 3 - "The sky's the limit"

United Neon 3 of 3 - "The sky's the limit" by Today is a good day.
I flew into United’s terminal at O’Hare this afternoon.

I’ve long been impressed by the light sculpture in here (see the blurb below) – but this is the first time I’ve stopped to try and capture it “on film”. Quite tricky. Not sure which of the three I’ve posted I like best!

What do you think?
See them side by side here

And the blurb is:
The passenger corridor features a 744 foot neon sculpture by California artist Michael Hayden. The sculpture, entitled "Sky's the Limit" is the largest light sculpture in the world. It is composed o 466 colored neon tubes of 14 foot and 8 foot 8 inch lengths. They run the length of the ceiling above the two moving sidewalks. The first and last sections of the three-section sculpture begin with white neon tubes. The center section starts with indigo and proceeds through the spectrum from shades of blue to green to yellow to orange to bright red. The light sculpture is computer generated. The pattern of light pulses never repeats itself

Nicely done. So often I see photos of this that were taken as someone passed through. I like that you stopped to set this up right.

As much as I hate O'Hare, I always enjoy this corridor. A very nice respite. As you say we are usually passing through. Maybe a stop is in order. Beautiful shot!

I like this one the best. I have gone through the tunnel many times got annoyed by the song (Rhapsody in Blue?) a little bit. The light sculpture looks nicer in your picture than in person.

I was just here a couple weeks ago. The music wasn't playing and I missed it. I had a longish time between planes and stayed down here for awhile (I just posted some shots). These are really good. You're right, it's a bit tricky.
