Grand Canyon 2008

This is the picture library of John and Donna Farrell, and Jim and Rosemary Kestle. The Farrell's and Kestle's were traveling partners for the trip that began June 28 and ended July 4 in the very early morning when we returned home. The trip is over now and we're still good friends! It was a great time for all. We hope you enjoy the pictures.

We saw the area from the ground, on the water in the Colorado River and in the air by helicopter. It is a beautiful and awesome place.

John Wesley Powell, a pioneer explorer, is credited with saying that words cannot describe and pictures cannot convey the beauty and grandeur of this place - we agree wholeheartedly; nonetheless, here are our pictures.
