Credit Crunch by Steve J.

Hundreds more recipes here.

125 grams butter
125 grams sugar
250 grams flour

Mix it all together in a bowl with a wooden spoon.

Butter was too cold so bung in microwave for 1 min to soften up a bit.

Try to make little biccy shapes.

Too dry and crumbly, so mix in a wooden spoonful of margarine, I had no more butter left.

Throw in a handful of dried sultanas and raisins and stuff.

Mix it again.

Another handful of dried fruit because it didn't look spotty enough.

Try to make little biccy shapes.

Dough is too thick, so make little balls and squiff them on the margarined baking tray. I think they flatten out when cooking.

180 degrees for 12 mins.

5 mins more

2 mins more

10 mins more

8 mins more

Seem ok, but they didn't flatten out. Take out of oven, put on little plate and take nice photos.

They were rather nice actually, I say 'were' as they were nice and soft in the middle, just how I prefer them. Now they've settled a little, despite remaining quite tasty, are a little too hard especially as I'm being careful with a loose tooth :-(
