One year ago....
....I was standing on top of Rothenfluh near Schwyz in Switzerland
taking this picture. 5 hours previously I had woken in my bed at home.
I don't really like travelling by plane because you have no sense of
actual travel. You're just suddenly there in a different climate and
landscape, still picking the remnants of breakfast cereal from your
mouth.
I'm not getting abroad this year but I've still plenty of pics from
this trip to post. I'm glad I'm not there today. It's grey, cloudy and
thoroughly wet. They've not had a good summer I think.

Mark Howells - yeah, I don't know what happened with the focus here. The camera was fairly new so I probably wasn't used to the settings.
Thanks everyone for your comments. I wasn't sure if it was too postcard-ish for interest, but it's now one of my most popular. Never can tell.
