For me at least, Edinburgh from an unusual angle. As I do when I visit the city, I love the particular colour of the brickwork.

What is the camera obscura tower ?

  13. gms 89 months ago | reply

    Thanks all!

*Ariel* - The Camera Obscura is like sitting in a large camera lens. Built in a tower, visitors sit in a small circular room around a white round concave table. Above the table is the tower's roof which has a lens and a moveable mirror outside. With the lights off, the image of Edinburgh is reflected down the lens and onto the table, so you can look about the city view without moving from your seat.

WOW! Monochromatic in a way...seems like maybe the fog and lack of sunlight and this could make one a bit....well....sad.
