Amazingly, it's been over 3 and a half months since I've posted a shot from my Holga. So be warned, there will be a bit of an onslaught for the next while of toy camera crap. This is the Lover's Bridge in Tamsui, Taipei. Shot using the microclics technique - this is 8 or 9 slightly overlapping exposures.

A few years back, Nikon decided that Canon had it all figured out - White was the new Black. And so they put out this beautiful limited edition white Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. So naturally, I lost my mind and had to snap it up when I finally saw one for sale.

Sorry, I've been shying away from Flickr lately due to a lack of free time. But I'm back now, and will finally start making my way through some of my Taiwan/ HK photos, as well as catching up on all of your photo streams!

As the days fade into weeks, I find myself already losing track of what we saw and where we went during our trip to Taiwan. I seem to remember this being Beitou MRT station, but I may be wrong - it may be some other station we transferred at en route to Beitou for some private hot spring action.

Switching things up a bit here - this is obviously not a photo… I was in Ottawa this past week, and took in the local life drawing scene. The model was of the 'plus size' shape, so was very interesting to sketch. This one was a 30 minute mixed media sketch using a Pentel Pocket Brush and conte crayons.
