Box with button clasp: completed box

On the opposite side of this panel is a button, which you wrap the string around.
This is a string (see bottom left and top right corners of note), twisted around itself several times (for thickness), which you can use to wrap around the button and keep the box closed.

Great box engineering. I know how hard it is to make everything fit. Is there a fastener? And which side is the top? It's hard to tell because it seems that you'd have to unwrap the box from the bottom.

See the notes I've just added for the location of the fastener. The box does wrap up, but the piece that ends up on top is the one you see with the corners cut off.
