The day following the hide we went looking for some dippers and found this little chap. Like the wren it's a bird that tends not to sit still and flits up and down the river.

Again even though I was using a long focal length lens this is still a big crop on the original.

Taken from the same hide that we used for the Red Squirrels.

Simon who owns the hide has also setup a few bird feeders, so if you're into small birds then it's a superb place to capture them.
