One of our resident Eastern Screech owls (red morph or phase) showed up in the squirrel box 2 nights ago. Also showed up one evening in December. Hoping she'll decide to nest in one of our many boxes throughout the woods again. It's been at least 3 years since I've seen owlets. Below is without flash, and was grainy and gray so I added a texture overlay for fun. Main photo is flash from the camera with 800 ISO so better color and less grain. Too bad she always shows up when it's close to dark.

That's what I want to know--after 2 days of icy fog. At least the temps warmed overnight, and the ice should be gone. But today it's raining!

These are some photos of a couple who attended Jaki and Clark's New Year's Eve & Wedding Reception. Everyone had fun using the props for their time on the photography stage. I chose the black and white version as a reminder to OhioFoothills' members to post their entries tonight for the January challenge. The color version is listed below, as well as a candid shot of the cute couple before their dress up session.
