For Anna

It's been awhile. Life's been hard, but I'm getting better I guess. Lot's of inspirations, but no will. My mom passed away suddenly this April and I haven't make peace with this yet. Hopefully soon, or someday... I got this on her birthday, April 19th. I know what most people feel about ink, but I just want to put it out there, when I decided to get this, I never been so sure in my whole life.

I'm sorry for your loss. I think we are of an age that our parents are in a fragile state. My father has cancer and is in remission, but it will take him someday, and I fear in the not too distant future.

Richard, make sure you tell them you love them before it's too late. For some reason I assured myself that my mom would live years and years to come, I'm still in shock and having a hard time to accept this. And I never had a chance to tell her how much she meant to me. She was my world. And I never told her. And I regret this so much.
