I love the glare in this photo. Sunny day. Late afternoon. But the sun is not in the photo. Just the light from it, reflecting off the water with the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge in the background. Taken with Samsung Galaxy SII.

A colourful bird I came across during my recent visit to Blue Mountains, NSW. This bird is native to Australia. Took me some time to identify the species (Anthochaera carunculata). This is my first bird photo. A decent one I think.

The foundation structures of the Pyrmont bridge caught my eyes as I walked past it yesterday. This wood and steel bridge was built in 1902!

The wheel was an invention. A giant wheel, is a marvel!
