SADLY..........the WINTER TRAILS DAY event on Sat Jan 7th 2012 at NORTH FORK PARK in Liberty, Ogden Valley UTAH...........has been cancelled due to lack of SNOW. However, this wonderful outdoors event will be celebrated in Jan 2013, at North Fork Park, hosted by Weber Pathways and Ogden Nordic. Keep your emails tuned for next year.

This will be the 3rd annual WTD @ North Fork Park and Ogden Nordic Ski Club will be hosting this event along with Weber Pathways. Thanks to Weber County, Weber Pathways, and other local sponsors who come out to support this premier winter event. Event will be from 9am to 1pm next to the South Gate Parking lot of North Fork Park.

This year's NORDIC FESTIVAL VILLAGE will include
• Ogden Nordic Ski Club’s Nordic Center will be open with Rossignol and Salomon X-C SKI gear for FREE Demos
• Additional FREE Demo gear...... will be provided by WSU’s Outdoor Program Rental Department and Diamond Peak Mountain Sports of Eden rental department. Both will bring X-C Ski gear and snow shoes
• Ask questions and get answers from experienced Nordic athletes
• Try out some of North Fork Park’s 15+ miles of groomed Nordic Trails on the best groomed NORDIC SNOW in Ogden Valley at this time of year
• Find out which trails near your home are best for Nordic sports
• INFO Booths for both Weber Pathways & GOAL Foundation
• Enjoy hot chocolate / coffee from Eden Coffee and Cocoa
• All ages and abilities are welcome to this WINTER TRAILS DAY EVENT!!

There is a $5/$10 (Individual/Family) trail fee that covers the grooming
and maintenance of the Nordic trails.

NO 4TH ANNUAL OGDEN PADDLE FESTIVAL @ Middle Inlet Beach on Pineview Reservoir has been postponed until AUG 2012. Stay tuned to this site for more information in 2012..

Although TAZ is a SNOW BUNNY...........she said she is ready for SODP to open 4.16.2010...Next FRI. See you there.
4.16.2010: SODP (SOUTH OGDEN DOG PARK) opened today, 4.16.2010, for the 3rd season. It was great. Talk to DOUG MILLARD if you want this Weber County DOG Park to stay open, all year and always, except for a reasonable MUD SEASON.
