Hollister Billboard on Broadway and Houston
The city I know is gone. This shit-colored monstrosity has replaced the iconic DKNY billboard that truly captured the attitude of the city. It's an eye-sore.

OMG! I haven't been there since it's been raining so much but this is the Lee sisters as triplets---ug-LEE, home-LEE, and fug-LEE.

Amen! I have worked in this neighborhood more or less for the last 10 years and it has become insufferable. Now I just scurry up into my office to avoid the tourists and the teenage mobs.
And the Hollister sign really gets me going... It's ugly, it says california, and, whateverthefuck hollister is, outside are bouncers? in surf shorts. Ugh!

What a shame! The DKNY billboard was much more than just advertising. It was pretty, it was art, it was impressive, it was New York!
