![]() In September 2006, students, professors and workers at St. Mary's College of Maryland united to support the workers' demand for a living wage. This display of grassroots activism in the face of unjust policies represents the true spirit of human compassion embodied by the St. Mary's community. Unfortunately, negotiations between the workers and the Board of Trustees at the College have not yet resultes in increased wages for the lowest paid employees.

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Independent Lens | AN UNREASONABLE MAN | PBS, and we'd love to have your photo added to the group.
We are currently seeking photos that portray "grassroots activism" in support of our upcoming broadcast of AN UNREASONABLE MAN, which takes an unsparing look at Ralph Nader and Democracy in the U.S. Photos in our groups may be streamed on the Independent Lens Web site using Flickr. We would appreciate it if you could add a short description to any photos you submit to our groups. Thank you for contributing and helping us engage viewers around this film!
