A mug rug for my (UK) friend Monica. (In exchange for this one.)

Technically it's a friendship star but b/c of how I squared it up, it's askew (see the actual star appear below on point).

Between 15-20 bursts of doing what I'm supposed to be doing this morning, I've been pulling fabrics for a baby quilt. The Internet seems to be in some disagreement over whether the proper term for a collective of hedgehogs would be a herd or an array (and apparently the idea is a bit off in itself as hedgehogs prefer to be solitary animals) but I'm going with the alliterative herd. Won't this be fun with mustard-y grid sashing?

Finally catching up on some swaps I arranged this Fall. It was so awesome to get great packages during student teaching and also so awesome that all my swap mates were so patient with my inability to fulfill my half of things!!! :)
