This code was defined in 1998 as one of the traditional IETF April Fools' jokes, in RFC 2324, Hyper Text Coffee Pot Control Protocol, and is not expected to be implemented by actual HTTP servers. However, known implementations do exist.

I just went and translated the page this cat picture is from. This was a little abandoned kitten someone found at about three days old, and tried to save. The little tacker survived for 37 days before succumbing suddenly... Suddenly I'm sad.

I got away with referencing this in my dissertation, I hope the person marking it had a few giggles over it.
