New Car
2008 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited, in Newport Blue Pearl. Huge moonroof!
I went to the only nearby dealer that had blue 2.5i Limiteds in their online inventory. Unfortunately most of them were two-tone (blue, grey) which I did not want (I never really wanted an Outback which has been traditionally two-tone, but they've discontinued the Legacy wagon model that I had before, argh!). This one, their only all-blue one, had been parked off to the side, and the salesguy assumed it had been sold, but luckily he checked and it turned out it was just going to the detailer to have a new accessory put on. So I grabbed it. I was a little wary of the "partial zero emissions" thing, but there's no way the performance will be worse than my previous Subaru's California emissions (I bought that one in Palo Alto, CA), and it'll be better for the environment even tho' I'm not buying a car with better MPG.
Hopefully this one will last me another 10+ years just like the other one.
