Laminated and turned clear Lucite

This is what I have been doing lately. It doesn't look too exciting but the process has been floating my boat. Although I am teaching myself to laminate Lucite and turn it on a lathe, the process of getting a decent picture of a combination clear and opaque object is another matter entirely. My objective isn't beads, but the size is cheaper to learn with. Sheet acrylic can get expensive!

Decisions Necklace

I'm trying to decide which focal to use. The oval bezel is very traditional. The other piece would push old style patterns into a more contemporary look.
