Lemur

The zoo has 7 ring-tailed lemurs. They live on 'lemur island' with 2 red-fronted lemurs. They are all cute. I'm not going to even try to id this fella, but I'll put the info from the zoo's web here for fun. I do not think it is Andromeda because there was one ring-tailed lemur that was clearly separate from the others and that is apparently Andromeda. Sammy felt strongly that the lemurs were meditating and it did look like it, especially when they sat in this position with their palms up.

Gelon – Male
Born May 13, 1991, weighs 4.8 pounds (2.2 kg), has a short tail and is missing his right middle finger

Myrto - Male
Born March 26, 2000, he is a smaller male weighing 4.4 pounds (2 kg), has a full tail and is Corinna and Gelon’s son

Corinna – Female
Born March 16, 1984, weighs 5.2 pounds (2.7 kg), has a short tail, a notch on the bottom of her left ear and missing a canine

Charias – Female
Born March 26, 2000, weighs 4 pounds (1.8 kg), is Corinna and Gelon’s daughter and Myrto’s twin

Cleander – Female
Born April 11, 1997, weighs 4.7 pounds (2.1 kg), is Corinna’s daughter

Ninna – Female
Born March 15, 1989, weighs 5.5 pounds (2.5 kg), is the largest lemur and Corinna’s daughter

Andromeda – Female
Born April 19, 1997, weighs 5.3 pounds (2.4 kg), is an unrelated female and found on the group's periphery
