Help needed for Katrina's animal victims

If you live in the Northern Virginia area and would like to help out with the cats rescued from the devastation left by hurricane Katrina the opportunity to do so has arrived. Some rescued cats are here in NOVA and more are expected. Foster homes are desperately needed. If you have a spare room, bathroom or other indoor cat friendly space and you would like to foster one of these special cats please contact the organization I do photography for, HART. The given link is to a page that describes their foster program. At the bottom of that page there is a link to their online application to be a foster home and a link to email Carol with questions you may have. Please see if you can find a way to help these cats.

I'm glad they're managing to rescue some of the animals affected by the hurricane. Whenever there is a disaster, I start worrying about what's going to happen to people's pets. It must be so terrifying for an animal.

Iolanthe - there are a lot of poeple working for the animals. Cats are difficult, they get so scared and then they are difficult to catch.

Ah, no worries. These are from a 2004 litter of foster kittens. 2 of them are mine now and 2 are my sister-in-laws. They are loved beyond reason :)
