Lens

Lens by gilest.
This is the (filthy) lens of my old Agfa ePhoto 1280, my first digital camera. I bought it in 1997 for about 270 squids.

I loved this camera of yours, Giles. The articulated viewfinder let you get shots none of the rest of us could.

danhon: yes, this is the cotton wool noise vakumm camera

edd: yay! although I always called it "flippy flappy screen" rather than "articulated viewfinder".

I love my 1280. Why don't all cameras have that swivelly lens? It really is the best thing for easy composition and creative angles.

How I loved the E1280....
I loved its swiveling lens, its specific colours, its lens flaring
and its unfocused blurry background patterns...

Hated the battery system and tiny memorychip, though ;-)

For photographing my artwork,
I used the lens of a old binocular, kept in front of the camera's lens.
Rather unpractical, maybe,
but I think the end result may still be seen today!
