On Friday, the Spirit of Youth were treated to an inspirational session with world renowned Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra conductor Ben Zander, and his wife Ros who co-authored the book The Art of Possibility. Ben and Ros have been regular visitors at GIBS over the years, and a highlight for our MBAs who do the East Coast global module, is the opportunity to visit Ben in Boston and experience a practice session with the orchestra. The audience remained captivated throughout the session, and judging from the questions they raised and issues they discussed, our future leaders in SA have an optimistic, “can do” attitude.
