Merry Christmas to Me!

My wonderful husband Chris gave me this gorgeous brooch for Christmas.
I absolutely love it!! Back in August, I purchased a Sigi Pineda brooch (people at work and my friends call me the pin lady) at Thanks for the Memories In L.A. that I had been lusting after for a few years. I also saw this one (still researching who the designer is--Norwegian we think) and then had a difficult time deciding between the two but I went with my first instinct. Well, lo and behold, Chris contacted the owner Maddie after we returned to Austin and had this one sent. He is so good at keeping gift secrets---since August? Come on...
I love that it has its own pillow to rest on!

It's 70 and sunny here today so I doubt we will have a white Christmas. A girl can dream.... I know , I know the US east coast is buried in too much snow right now.
