So true, great quote. Also makes me think of this couple I read about... they were in love but had nothing in common... yet they had a successful relationship. Why? Because they were in love and the beauty in the love was all that really mattered... Love has a lot to do with what we find beautiful. It seems to me that we are each magnetized to whatever resonates within, not so much what appears on the outside. And that magnetism seems to depend on how we perceive ourselves... The pursuit of beauty seems to involve, first and foremost, a process by which we get to know ourselves... and then noticing what mirrors this to us in the "outside" world. An interesting process, because getting to know ourselves seems to be a lifelong process... plenty of time to discover beauty all around... and plenty of time to grow into and express our own inner beauty...

Why do we keep looking, what is that elusive beauty we find and loose... certainly is beyond physical, for many "perfect" beauties are so ugly inside.

So what is beauty: it is that person that touches your heart deeper than anybody did before. That is it.
