free

To avoid further misunderstandings, I am "free" -in any case-, in a general sense. (that i´m not, btw... who is 100% "free"?).

When I added the tags "disponible" / "available" it is because this is the sign that taxi cabs uses here in their windowshields to let you tell if they are with a passenger or available. (turned on like in here is "available", obviously, while turned off becomes invisible from a distance and means the car is busy.)

vidar.... muy cierto, viajar en taxi, quien pudiera. Yo no puedo -aparte soy anti taxi-, yo les saco fotos por trabajo. Pero... no sabes como laburan! Un tachero se lleva 100 / 150 pesos limpios a la casa por dia, -por turno-. No esta mal, no? Y despues dicen que nadie tiene plata en este pais...

'Free' is like anything else - depends on who you are and in what situation. For the slave, it's a good thing. For the Taxi driver, it's not being paid. For some, freedom is everything and for others freedom is not being tied down (or to put it another way, insecure - not secured).

Here is not possible I think because taxis fees are regulated, but I am not so sure. For whatever the thing, it would be great here, recession is tremendous, inflation only makes it all worse, and taxis have become the most luxurious means of transportation (more than ever before). It's ridiculously expensive.
