To the greatest 2010 for us all
Thank you all for the wonderful companionship during all these years. Who could have imagined or ever expected that 2010 would find us here still together, interacting and sharing with one another our art and daily happenings? It's more than 5 years since I arrived here and many things changed, but the spirit remains the same.
Thank you all for making my life bright and worth it. To your happiness and your best success, I raise my glass, amke this toast and drink!

a new look for a new year?
Aliens do have eye strain too.
At least for using with the computer I am most possibly into eyeglasses. Finally my turn has come. These here are temporary, with almost no correction, to try, and I feel lot better. I will go to the eye doctor on friday to define.
The eye strain is getting incresingly bothersome (headaches and some confusion -like the eyes are slow to catchup with head movements or focus shifts at times). I see "well", short and long distances and focus alright, and not blurry, but there seems to be something that keeps like my sight slightly "shaky" and not firm as it should. Specially when i'm in front of the monitor. This causes me a lot of strain, both for the eyes and the mind.
Not casually, I guess, this worsened since I got a notebook as main computer. I was against changing from desktop to notebook for that reason (changing a CTR monitor for a LCD).
Perhaps it's just the too much stress I've been under lately this year.
I also need a break, in general, beyond lenses.
Anyway, I don't have any problem with using eyeglasses. Quite the contrary. Yet I hope they solve my problem and also why not, fit me nicely! 8-)

[encarnacion] view from dad's
[Worths the large, realistic view] This is a hand-made stitch of two pictures.
Encarnación is the satelite city of Posadas, in Paraguay. It's on the other side of the Parana river. This is the night view from my dad's balcony. Quite an stunning scenery, day and night.

hide&seek is no fair game for a sun
being a sun also has its complications in everyday life, evidently.
