Gator on the Surface

Went on a Swamp Tour the other day over in Slidell, LA with Pearl River Eco tours, got to see a bunch of gators in their natural habitat. Though they were coaxed to the water with marshmallows, and sausages on sticks by the tour guides, it was still a lot of fun, and very cool to see them like that.

The Gulf Of Mexico's emerald coast was battered by Tropical Storm Lee, over the Labor Day weekend - though far from the center, Pensacola Beach, FL felt the effects of Lee transcribed via the large waves, nearly consistent winds and over a foot of rainfall.

Waves Crash Into the Pier

Normally sitting a good 20-25 feet off the surface of the water, the Pensacola Beach Fishing Pier takes a beating and stands strong as Tropical Storm Lee batters the coast with 10-15 foot waves on top of a storm surge swollen Gulf of Mexico over the Labor Day weekend.
