Maybe you did same error as me: it's -14 (14 W). If you put 14 (E) you are in the middle of the desert. With -14, you are on the coast, but I do not see any ship.

It appears I got the coords wrong. But I remember distinctly that his one was very near Tarfaya, which is very close to the coords given.

The wreck is indeed near Tarfaya, along with two others. I visited Tarfaya in 1990 and took some grainy black and white pictures. You can see the wrecks quite clearly on Google maps.
