The Red Lion is dead

Although it's very close to the office I've not been around this street for a couple of months, and was surprised to see the aged Red Lion has closed. Just think what changes have happened around here since it opened in the mid-eighteenth century. And now it's being buried under a block of flats.

Change ain't always a good thing.
